It was gathered that, A polyandrous housewife identified as Chiekube Igbinosa in Akumazi community, Ika North East local government area of Delta State, over the weekend allegedly bit off her daughter’s ear and stabbed her with broken bottles over rivalry over her boyfriend.
Sources reveal that the fight which allegedly led the mother biting off a scoopful of flesh from the daughter’s ear, including hot damaging slaps – took place around camp 74 behind Ibori Golf course within the Asaba campus of the Delta State University.
The 46-year-old woman said to have been the first love of an Ibo building materials’ trader who was said to have been deported to Nigeria three years ago from Spain, allegedly hoodwinked the woman’s daughter into relationship.
The girl in question had recently graduated from a university in the South-south region and was on a visit to her mother’s house after her Youth Service in Rivers State.
While their love relationship blossomed, the unsuspecting mother and secondary school vice principal, allegedly showered her lover boy with gifts, including part of her monthly salaries.
But this was not to be when the daughter identified as Mabel Igbinosa flippantly opened up to her friend her relationship with the Igbo man building materials trader, including how he made love to her in marathon exercise.
This disclosure placed the mother on red alert – keeping a watchful eye on her daughter.
Expectedly, the woman had gone to the Igbo man’s house around Okwe Quarters, Asaba when she was sent to Mile 5 not too far from the man’s residence to buy fish while the daughter who sighted the mother ran into a neighbour’s room to hide on the fateful Saturday.
Upon her return from Mile 5, she was sent on another errand by her boyfriend, faraway from the house.
This made the girl’s mother suspicious.
So she decided to skip the errand and hideout in a corner around the neighbourhood and after a few minutes, she caught the daughter sneaking into the man’s room where the bubble burst.
Sources said that the woman, who is also into provision store business, stormed the neighbour’s room where the daughter was hiding and ordered her to come out.
The girl realisng she had been caught – came out of the room. Her mother then pounced on her, beating her blue black before biting off her ear and stabbing her with broken bottles.
During the fight, police were invited to the scene. The woman, daughter and the lover boy were all whisked away to the police station.
