The Director General of the State Security Service SSS, Mr Ita Ekpeyong (pictured above) has been sacked by Buhari.
He has also appointed Mr Lawal Daura as his replacement.Mr Ekeyong's sack was contained in a statement released and signed by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Danladi Kifasi.The new DG was born in Daura on August, 5, 1953 and attended the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1977 – 1980. Mr Daura's appointment is with immediate effect.
